My name is Oleh Boreiko, and I am a DevOps Engineer with over 4 years of hands-on experience in automation, CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes cluster management, and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure. I specialize in streamlining deployment processes, optimizing infrastructure, and ensuring high availability and scalability of systems. Throughout my career, I’ve worked on various projects that involve designing and automating end-to-end systems, from infrastructure setup to application deployment.
I hold certifications as an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator and Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), which have deepened my expertise in managing and configuring cloud environments, particularly in terms of automation and resource management. Teaching Experience:
Before transitioning to the role of a DevOps Engineer, I spent 4 years as a lecturer at two universities, where I taught courses on Information Technology and Computer Systems. During this time, I also earned a PhD in Information Technology, which allowed me to deepen my understanding of complex systems and their real-world applications.
My academic experience has provided me with a solid foundation for teaching and mentoring students. I believe in an interactive, hands-on approach to learning, where students are encouraged to tackle real-world problems and apply technical concepts in practical scenarios. Hobbies and Interests:
In addition to my professional work, I am passionate about the world of IoT (Internet of Things) and enjoy working on various projects that utilize Raspberry Pi, Arduino, and other similar platforms. I have built a variety of systems ranging from home automation solutions to AI-powered smart assistants, all of which I share on my blog, IT Maker Club.
